Network Configuration
TriQuest will configure and maintain your network infrastructure so that is stable and reliable.

The network infrastructure is the foundation upon which all computer technology operates.  A problem with the infrastructure (the foundation) has a cascading effect on applications.  Therefore, proper design and configuration of this foundation is crucial.

Unlike many technologies, network equipment typically has a useful life of 5-7 years.  In some cases, network cabling is used for 10-15 years.  This means that setting up a stable backbone has a longer payback period than other types of equipment.  It also means that configuration problems or design flaws will be around a long time!

The network topology, or layout, must be documented.  This is a very important, but often over looked detail.  The network topology is used in decision making, to ensure that new software, branch offices, or equipment can operate on the network without impacting current systems.  In a crisis, the network topology is used to quickly identify the problem area(s).

Network configuration consists of the following services:

  • Documentation of current network topology
  • Assessing current and future demands on the network
  • Recommending immediate and life-cycle upgrades to improve performance
  • Monitoring performance on an on-going basis (as required)

Our technicians can handle the site planning, manage sub-contractors, and install the equipment.
